Vision

The International Commission for Applied Social Psychology aspires to be the preeminent resource in the field of Applied Social Psychology.  This relatively new field of Psychology can best be accounted for through rigorous accreditation standards and their enforcement.  The ICASP can best instill public confidence for institutions of higher education by striving to achieve excellence through performance and resources.

Accreditation by ICASP indicates that Institutions have clearly defined educational objectives.  In order to achieve success, these objectives must be plainly stated and specify a consistent mission.  Ultimately, the objectives must be appropriate for the respective degrees being offered.

The International Commission for Applied Social Psychology supports the right of an institution to pursue its established educational mission; the right of faculty members to teach, investigate, and publish freely; and the right of students to access opportunities for learning and for the open exchange of ideas.
